my raison d’être (reason for being)
The quote above gracefully articulates the why behind my passion for creating artful imagery of life’s celebrations. Memories take time to bloom into their intoxicating maturity, where the emotions of moments past come back into focus with such intensity it sweeps you away. And likewise, good images take time to craft. But if you’re patient a beautiful image, like fine wine, ages to become a tangible portal into the feeling of your most cherished memories. This is the gift that photographs give.

I believe in the power of slowing down, and in the profound beauty of simplicity. I'm obsessed with cooking vegetables in delicious ways, reading good books and listening to jazz, all things Audrey Hepburn, practicing French (bien sûr), and going on slow walks with my family.

Yes, that’s another Audrey quote! The dearest treasures of my life are my bold, extroverted, entrepreneurial partner-in-crime husband, our impossibly adorable toddler girl, and our sweet new baby boy!
Serving not simply survivors, but thrivers
A cancer survivor myself, I am passionate about serving others who are living with cancer diagnoses. As a business, I’m honored to show my support by offering free portrait sessions to current patients before or during treatment, contributing a portion of every booking to The Livestrong Foundation, and providing a discount on wedding services for individuals employed in oncological care.
