Spring tends to arrive quite early in the Pacific Northwest, and before you know it, flowers are blossoming everywhere. What better time is there to take engagement photos in Seattle? In my opinion there is nothing as romantic as stealing away into a flower garden for some romantic portraits. And that’s coming from this dedicated lover of all things autumn!

I’m simply obsessed with camellias - they are a plant I hardly knew existed before moving to Seattle but they are now a permanent favorite. Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle is a great place for engagement and couple’s photo sessions, but the Camellia garden is one of my absolute favorite spots. Even in the midst of such a large, well-peopled park there are gorgeous little corners to hide away in to steal a kiss or two, and snap a few quiet portraits.
