Seattle IWD Fashion Show
This project is a little different than what I normally do, but when a post from a local fashion designer looking for a last minute photographer came across my facebook feed I jumped at the chance to be involved.
Meet Staci Bernstein, the creative eye behind Spell caster Aggie V. A multi-talented artist, Staci has shifted her focus away from her skills as a photographer and filmmaker to learn the art of the wardrobe. studying at a Seattle Fashion School provided her with opportunities to display her pieces on local runways, like this show that was held in honor of International Women’s Day. featuring budding labels from female designers in the Seattle area, the event was held at the Women Painter’s of Washington Gallery. Three to five styles from each designer wound their way through the exhibit aisles, impressing upon viewers unique stories and perspectives. It was an honor to capture all of the behind-the-scenes excitement and hard work both the designers and models invest to make a show successful. I hope you enjoy the following portraits of the beautiful, mystical, and nature-inspired creations these amazing women shared through this project. They wore it well.
